Artist Statement:

Lollipop Coral is a solid encaustic sculpture mounted on a beach stone. I view this piece as a representation of future coral reefs morphing into new forms because of global warming. Lollipop Coral is a new manifestation of brilliantly colored coral created and formed by pollution from industrial waste and the destruction of our coral reefs.
