Artist Statement:

My paintings explore moss and lichen as living records of transformation. These organisms inhabit fractured landscapes that are often unnoticed. They slowly assemble themselves into new forms from stone, air, and debris. By layering wax and pigment through textures, my paintings mimic the growth, erosion, and reconstruction found in nature: beginning as fragments, moss and lichen become sites of nature’s resilience. Viewers are invited to consider the beauty of persistence, memory, and emergence.
