Artist Statement:

African Winter Sunrise is a symbol of hope in our changing world. Seeing the sun rise each day gives us the confidence that we will make it through this time of change; that we have the ability to recover from the years of mistreatment of our Earth. Hoping for a better tomorrow won’t just happen. Our work is ahead of us, with unfortunately, many missed days in the past. Our resilience and Earth’s patience with its occupants will bring us to another sunrise tomorrow.
