Artist Statement:

I feel and hear the Earth crying out at the devastation unfolding due to global warming. This painting is my response to that cry.

In Earth’s Tears, the planet is depicted in the background—watchful, wounded, and mourning. A scorched line cuts through the heart of the composition, representing the destruction wrought by rising temperatures, wildfires, drought, and human neglect. Through this scorched terrain, blue rivulets of tears stream down—symbols of sorrow, but also of hope and cleansing.

These tears are not just Earth’s grief—they are a call to us. A plea. A reminder that the damage is not distant or abstract, but immediate and deeply personal. Global warming is not a future threat. It is our present reality.
