Artist Statement:

The effect that we have on the planet as humankind is profound, massive and complex. It is often hard to come to terms with what we can do as individuals versus collectively. There are myriad connections between our actions as individuals and the state of the planet. This piece seeks to show that action starts with each of us as individuals and the choices we make -either harmful or beneficial. We need to make a conscious choice to tread lightly on the earth – to support beauty and the natural world that is so important for the future and our own mental health.
