ARTIST STATEMENT

A glance is often an unintentional ignition of inspiration for me as a visually and emotionally orientated person. A moment of noticing delivers raw impressions, pattern recognition, color, shapes, and sudden, unusual ideas. In a glance, feelings arise and their emotional resonance becomes the source of inspiration. I am grateful that in this age of little attention span a glance is still my ally to mindful expression.
