ARTIST STATEMENT
Inspiration, for me, is not a stable state but a brief opening — something that appears at the edge of dissolution.
In this work, it does not arrive fully formed. It emerges from what is already breaking down — from residue, fragments, and overlooked matter. The image develops not by construction, but by release.
The butterflies are not symbols of transformation in a conventional sense. They are closer to traces — momentary formations that gather and disperse, unable to fully settle into form.
Inspiration here is fragile and unstable. It does not belong to the artist alone; it passes through, shaped by both internal tension and external eventuality.
What remains is not the source itself, but its echo — something partial, already fading, yet still present.
