ARTIST STATEMENT

In Inspiration: Catch and Release, a hand gently holds a dove—symbolizing the fleeting nature of ideas that come to us unbidden. Like inspiration itself, the dove can be held for a moment, studied, and honored, but not possessed. The act of release becomes just as important as the act of catching, suggesting that true creative insight requires both receptivity and trust.
