ARTIST STATEMENT

My inspiration is sparked by the inherent beauty of paint itself, of nature, and themes that evoke feeling and change. I am drawn to the idea that art can hold space for emotion while gently guiding us toward a more compassionate and balanced natural and social environments. Working primarily with oil and cold wax or encaustic, my work centers on abstraction as a way of communicating what cannot be easily named.

Through layered surfaces and rich visual fields, I explore the energetic interplay of color, density, metallics, texture, and movement. My process is intuitive and fluid, allowing each work to evolve organically through repetition, discovery, and surrender. By creating spaces that feel open and alive, I hope to inspire emotional resonance, and a sense of optimism for a more harmonious relationship between ourselves, one another, and the world we share.
