ARTIST STATEMENT

I was inspired when thinking about the joy of being young while opening a new box of crayons. All the colors seemed full of potential and magic. Creating and playing with curiosity without expectations or judgment. My life is being pulled in multiple ways right now. Not unlike many of us. As of late, to help myself in all those life tasks, I’ve been saying, “When life is life…” I need to play, because THAT is what inspires me. So what better way to play than with a box of crayons and some heat.
