The entrants were allowed to enter 1 or 2 pieces for consideration, please remember that you should not select more than one piece from any artist. Other than that, your choices are entirely up to your artistic discretion. Entrants were allowed to submit detail (close-up views) of their entries in addition. When you look at an entry, you may see 1-2 main images which should be full-view images of the 1 or 2 pieces they are submitting for consideration. Below each of those images you may (or may not) see the detail views if the artist submitted them. You will score only the main (full-view) images. If an entrant has submitted more than one artwork, you may only choose ONE from that artist. You can do the scoring however works best for you, but we would suggest that if you are choosing one of their pieces, you give that image a score of 5 and right then score the other images (if they’ve submitted more than one piece) as zero so you will be sure not to choose more than one piece per selected artist.

You will assign a score to each of the artists submitted main/full view images. A numerical score of 5 will indicate those pieces you wish to accept into the exhibit. A score of 4 or less will indicate the piece is not accepted.

The entrants are also required to submit brief statements describing how their piece fits with the theme. If they submitted more than one piece, they were allowed to submit separate statements for each. The EntryThingy system allows a limited number of characters for them do it in, for any statements longer than what the system allows, they were instructed to write statement sent separately.  We will email you any of these separate statements along with their entry number/image ID#.

When you’ve finished the process, please log out and contact Douglas or Adrienne Mehrens at Mehrens@eainm.com to let them know you’ve finished. If you have any questions, please call Douglas or Adrienne at 505-424-6487.

Thank you!
