Label Forms for Exhibits | Encaustic Art Institute

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

For juried exhibitions or special exhibits, you may be required to ship your work to us, depending on whether the exhibition is in person, online only, or a combination. Check the Call for Art or contact us to confirm. If you are requested to ship your work to us, include the shipping label in your box.

For new or renewing EAI Members who would like to have their work represented in the ONLINE EAI Member Gallery, you may send us one or two high-quality JPEGs and information, and we will post your work in the online EAI Member Gallery. You will not be shipping your work to EAI; only submit the JPEGs, and we prefer you also send us the label with your submission.

If you need a label for an upcoming CALL FOR ART or are submitting JPEGs for a piece for the EAI Member Gallery:

Locate the link below for the Exhibit or for the EAI Member Gallery.
Download and print the label, fill it out, and attach it securely to the back of your piece or the bottom of your sculpture.
Please be sure to type or hand-write in the name of the show you are sending the piece for if the name of the exhibit is not noted on the form.
In addition to the label, which should be securely attached to your piece, you also need to fill out a separate label and email it to us to keep on file for you. Anytime you send us work, the piece should be labeled, and we should have a label on file for you.
When filling out a label, be sure you print legibly (or type) all information and fill out the form completely.
Please ship your art as requested in the Call for Art to the Encaustic Art Institute/(EAI), or to the Museum of Encaustic Art (MoEA). BOTH are located at: 18 County Rd 55A, Cerrillos, NM 87010.

Please note: Adobe Reader/Acrobat has changed how you can edit files to fill out forms. If you have a problem entering your text into the PDF file, click this link to read how they suggest filling in forms using Fill & Sign. When you’ve finished filling in your form, save the file by clicking File > Save as from the top menu bar to save it to your desktop. Then you can send the file as an attachment to your email. You may find it easier to print the document, fill it in by hand, scan or take a photo of the form, and email the image to us.

EAI MEMBER GALLERY LABEL:

CLICK HERE to download the form for the ONLINE EAI MEMBER GALLERY – you must be a current EAI member to submit work. For each EAI member, we will accept one or two JPEGs of your artwork for display in the ONLINE gallery, along with the form. You will not be shipping your work to EAI. GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION:

See the Call For Art for specific information on dates/deadlines, and any additional information needed to submit your work. For all art submissions: All artwork must be ready to hang with a secure wire across the back. No sawtooth hangers. ANY ARTWORK WITHOUT THE PROPER MEANS TO HANG IT WILL NOT BE HUNG. All shipping packages should be clearly labeled on the outside of the package with your name, address, and the name of the exhibit you are sending the piece to. All work should have the label securely attached to the back of the piece (or bottom of a 3-D piece). Verify whether pre-paid return shipping labels are mandatory before sending your work. (Generally, all work submitted will need pre-paid return shipping labels and should be acquired as you are preparing your package for shipping.)
