Artist Statement:

Sometimes the sky perfectly reflects what is going on in our warming world. This un-retouched original digital photo was taken on a typical freeway at the end of a particularly hot summer day; so hot, it seemed the sunset clouds were on fire. When the only cool place is inside your air-conditioned car, that tells you something about what we are living through, as well as our current ways of being in this warming world.
