Artist Statement:

Frothing emerges from a place that echoes tides and fracture, gesturing to labours of repair, voices rising and knowledge resurfacing. Using innovative sculptural encaustic techniques and sustainable practice it explores the effects of global warming on marine environments. The work reflects and celebrates collaborative restoration efforts, increasingly led by Indigenous and local communities with scientists, centring on stewardship and traditional knowledge. What’s broken is not yet beyond repair.
