Artist Statement:

Turmoil portrays an intense environmental conflict as it relates to global climate change. The swirling mixture of grey, red, and orange hues creates a sense of chaos and dynamic tension. The turbulent textures and stark contrasts resemble violent stormy skies or out of control wildfires— all too frequent natural events that embody the life-threatening transformation of today’s global climate.
