Artist Statement:

Glaciers melting and water rising will call for wide reaching consequences that we can’t even imagine. Lands over flooded can no longer feed families, homes will get destroyed and give no shelter anymore. The weight of displacement is about loss of borders, entire nations with millions forced to migrate and seeking refuge from a planet becoming unlivable. The painting is a warning for what lies ahead if we don’t act now.
