The 2020 (MMXX): Beginnings National Encaustic/Wax Juried Exhibition is our first online-only exhibit. As a result of the current COVID-19 situation, the Encaustic Art Institute/Museum of Encaustic Art have been mandated to close.
We want to thank all of the entrants, the juror, Kathleen Waterloo, and viewers for the outpouring of encouragement and good wishes during this trying time. Enjoy the work, and we hope you’ll consider supporting the selected artists by purchasing a piece from this exhibit.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, we could not have Museum visitors vote for the prizes. The exhibition prizes were decided by Kathleen Waterloo. Here are the winners:
