Artist Statement:

River Runs Through is a depiction of how our future world could look if global warming is not addressed. Windswept land with no vegetation and small crevices in the compacted earth by which we could retrieve water. The earth would decay slowly leaving a difficult ridge on the river bank. This art was also created as a series….drawing the viewer in with this deep texture…forcing them to not only understand the message but to dig into their own soul to search for answers on how they could make a difference in this trajectory.
