INSTRUCTIONS/INFO FOR ACCEPTED ARTISTS IN 2024 GWR EXHIBIT

Congratulations on your acceptance to the 2024 Global Warming is REAL Exhibition!

We will be emailing you a copy of your statement for the accepted work, and the details we have on file for you on August 18. The email will be coming from eainm.info@gmail.com and will be sent to the email address provided in your entry profile. If you have not received the email by August 20, contact Mehrens@eainm.com. Once you receive the email, please carefully go over what we’ve sent to verify that all of the information we have on file for you (your name: spelling and as you wish it to appear in the exhibition labels/info, your contact information), your piece (title, media, dimensions, price), and your artist statement are correct and final. If all of the information is correct, and you have no changes, email eainm.info@gmail.com to confirm that you have no changes. If you do have ANY changes, you must return the edits/corrections no later than Sunday, AUGUST 25. If we do not receive your edits by the deadline, we will use the information as you have submitted it on the entry. Due to the short timeline, we are unable to accept any edits after Aug 25.

All artists are also required to notify us by Monday, August 26 whether they intend to ship work as part of the in-person exhibition at the Museum of Encaustic Art, or whether they prefer to only participate in the online venue. Adrienne Mehrens will be emailing you a note the afternoon of August 18 encouraging shipping your work for the in-person exhibit with a few additional reasons why you may want to consider doing so. Please watch for her email, or click here to view it online.

For those shipping their work for the in-person exhibition, click here to find the label to affix to the back of your accepted work (or bottom of 3-D work).

A reminder:

  • All artwork must be for sale – and remain eligible for sale – from the time the entry is submitted (May 18 through July 29) and if an artwork is selected by the juror – until the close of the exhibition (October 20).
  • Commission Fee for this juried exhibition: 50% to the artist/50% to Encaustic Art Institute.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation in making this a successful exhibit.
